I search for the words today to make the world seem better. To make me think that I don’t have to worry about my children and the police, or my husband or the police. I struggle to keep the mantra “greatest nation in the world” true when what I saw unfold yesterday, was nothing more than a comedy of errors, a slap in the face of justice and a cry from a childless mother. We slipped as a whole Monday, from a grand jury not giving an officer the duty to stand in front of his “peers” to be judged, to the ridiculous rants of a tainted prosecutor from a town burned and destroyed in the name of frustration. America showed it’s true colors, ones that we’ve been trying to hide for awhile. We are a government of hypocrites, liars and bullies and it needs to change.

A 26-year-old, obviously super moral and intelligent woman named Afton Burton (She likes to be called, Star) started following Manson when she was 16 years old. She says that Manson’s ATWA (Air, Trees, Water, Animals) beliefs made her look passed his murderous ways and fell in love with him. So much so that she started a website called  Release Charles Manson Now, where his faithful can go and keep up with the utterly asinine rantings of an idiot girl. Wait, sorry, trying to keep it together here.

Dirtboxes: Another Way for Uncle Sam to Clock You.

I saw something in the Wall Street Journal last week about the U.S. Marshalls harvesting cell phone data by way of aircraft. There were devices installed in aircraft called “dirtboxes” that mimicked cell towers. Cell phones then, thinking they are communicating to a tower, register their unique registration info as well as their general location.

13 years ago, the world lost a beautiful soul. A talented singer, dancer and actress that had an amazing career ahead of her. Aaliyah Dana Haughton tragically died in a plane crash, August of 2001, she was 22.

Last night, executive producer and gossip talk show host, Wendy Williams presented Aaliyah: Princess of RnB on Lifetime. It was both sad and utterly hilarious in delivery and the way it was received, especially from Twitter-verse.
